These are hand-carved, red and black, lacquer-style plastic document boxes.
The simple yellow flowers give them a retro feel.
The size is about right to fit B5 paper.
They have dividers inside, making them easy to use, and are also recommended as toolboxes.
They might also be convenient for storing sewing supplies or kimono accessories.
They are unused and have been stored in their boxes, so there are no particularly noticeable scratches or stains. However, as they are made of plastic, there may be some minor scuffs from storage.
